Set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, it follows Sophia, a young plunderer, as she travels to Minotaur’s Island and searches for answers about her past. The game is described as an original story set in the A Plague Tale universe, featuring combat, puzzles, and mythological elements tied to the series’ wider history.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is a third-person action-adventure game set in 14th-century France during the Black Death. Players control Amicia, a young girl protecting her little brother Hugo as they flee the Inquisition and navigate environments overrun by swarms of plague rats. Gameplay combines stealth, puzzle-solving, and light combat, with an emphasis on using fire and light to manage the rat hordes.
