About Sonic Team
Sonic Team is a video game developer owned by the Japanese video game company Sega as part of its Sega CS Research and Development No. 2 division. Sonic Team is best known for its namesake long-running Sonic the Hedgehog series and games such as Nights into Dreams and Phantasy Star Online. The initial team, formed in 1990, comprised staff from Sega's Consumer Development division, including programmer Yuji Naka, artist Naoto Ohshima, and level designer Hirokazu Yasuhara. Sega makes its debut on the Nintendo DS with Feel the Magic: XY/XX, a stylized adventure rife with wild events. The story follows a man who uses a suave gang of dramatic performers to gain the attention of a beautiful woman. To help him impress the girl, you must guide him through a series of madcap performances, such as defending against raging bulls and blowing out giant candles. The game supports the unique features of the DS, which let you control the main character with a stylus, your voice, and even your breath.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a side-scrolling platform game and the sequel to the original Sonic the Hedgehog. Players control Sonic as he traverses larger, faster-paced levels across West Side Island, collecting rings, defeating robot enemies, and pursuing Doctor Robotnik. The game introduces Sonic's sidekick Miles "Tails" Prower, a two-tailed fox who can be controlled by a second player.
