About Square Enix Creative Studio III
In May 1st, 2024 there were name changes for the division being noticed in the Square Enix website and job updates on the profiles of some of the employees. In May 16th, 2024 SquareEnix announced they are doing a restructuring strategy to diversify platform releases of major titles and segregate mobile development to one studio out of six. Creative Business Unit III, known for MMOs Final Fantasy XI and XIV — as well as console release Final Fantasy XVI — was renamed to Creative Studio III. This change was shown at the beginning of the FINAL FANTASY XIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXXI stream with the new logo adjustment.

The Rising Tide is the second DLC for Final Fantasy XVI, which will bring new challenges, new locations and more, including the confrontation between Clive and the legendary Eikon, Leviathan.
Echoes of the Fallen is the first DLC of Final Fantasy XVI, which unlocks a whole new story, battles, weapons, accessories, level cap and more. For players who have completed the required quests, this new adventure begins before the base game’s final battle, as strange, dark crystals begin to circulate on the black market. Players will follow Clive and his friends during their investigations as they encounter a group of suspicious traders, leading them to a long-abandoned Fallen tower known as the Sagespire. There, they will unravel the terrible secrets that await within.
A single-player action RPG set in a high-fantasy world where warring nations and powerful summoned Eikons shape political intrigue and personal vengeance. Players control Clive, a former shield bearer whose life is upended by tragedy. Engage in fast-paced, tactical real-time combat that blends heavy weapons, Eikon-driven abilities, and cinematic set pieces. Deeply narrative-driven, the game emphasizes character development, expansive locales to explore, and dramatic boss encounters while offering layered combat customization through combos, parries, and skill upgrades.
Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is the third expansion pack to Final Fantasy XIV Online. The expansion takes the Warrior of Light to the First, one of thirteen reflections of the Source that is being consumed by a Flood of Light. The main region visited is known as Norvrandt, which is roughly analogous to the Source's Eorzea, and is the only region in the world that has not yet succumbed to the Flood of Light.
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood is the second expansion pack to Final Fantasy XIV Online. The expansion takes the Warrior of Light heading to the Gyr Abania region in eastern Aldenard and beyond to the continent of Othard, liberating both the city-states of Ala Mhigo and Doma from the Garlean Empire.
